Nominated Supervisor | Preschool | 08:00 AM - 3:00 PM We are seeking an off the floor nominated supervisor for a 37 place preschool centre in the Inner West area of Ashfield which caters for children from the ages of 3 - 6 years old. The Centre is a non-profit preschool and long day care, committed to providing a happy, safe, fun, educational environment for children to learn and grow.
We are proud of our highly qualified teachers and educators who love bringing out the best in every child, encouraging and embracing individual personalities and talents.
Responsibilities include: Ensuring that high quality care and education is provided. Managing 5 permanent educators across 2 rooms. Ensuring the centre is compliant with the EYLF, NQS and Education and Care Services National Law & Regulations. Managing the day-to-day operations of the Centre in line with the Centre's policies and procedures and managing enrolments and waitlists while developing collaborative relationships with children, families, and the local community. Overseeing the curriculum as the centre's Educational Leader. Maintaining centre budgets and ensuring financial aspects of the business are well managed. Your skills in leading, mentoring, and developing connected relationships within the centre team, children, and families will be essential to your success in this position. Working shifts - Monday to Friday - 8:30 AM - 3:00 PM. Essential Criteria: Bachelor or Master in Early Childhood Education (Overseas qualifications are accepted if they have been approved by ACECQA). At least 2 years experience in a similar leadership or 2ic role. Valid Working with Children's Check. Sound understanding of the EYLF and NQS. Proven ability to inspire, lead and support a team of successful educators. Efficient organisation skills and ability to meet deadlines. Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
