APS Level 6 - Senior Learning Officer - Affirmative Measure The People Branch in the Department of Health and Aged Care is seeking an experienced and engaging staff member to deliver Indigenous Cultural Capability training to staff at all levels.
The candidate will have high-quality training, delivery and leadership skills to support the cultural competency of the departmental staff, and to strengthen culturally responsive and effective practices related to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, service delivery, policy and programs.
The role will develop and implement strategies and solutions to support the department's commitment to being an inclusive and culturally safe and responsive workplace.
They will also support core business by guiding the development and maintenance of key strategic partnerships.
The successful candidate will draw on their own experience as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Island peoples, and their experience delivering capability development initiatives.
They must be confident delivering face-to-face and online training to a range of classification levels, including the senior leadership.
This role may require interstate travel.
The officer will work in accordance with the APS Code of Conduct and Values.
