Main Duties:
Understanding of general and site-specific safety requirements and coordination of automation (MHE) contractors with the general contractor. Ensure that storage areas for parts and site containers are available for all MHE suppliers. Verify and arrange site and work requirements for all MHE suppliers. Act as the first point of contact for the site supervisors of all MHE specialist contractors. Verify progress of predecessor activities by all the suppliers on site, and the site conditions for the start and progress of all MHE suppliers, including any interactions with other suppliers like General Contractor and their subcontractors. Manage MHE installation execution and on-site installation planning. Inform the PM MHE about deviations, irregularities, and non-conformities. Perform quality checks and ensure all works are in full compliance with the NewCold standards. Detailed day-to-day scheduling of electrical installation and IO check works. Detailed progress tracking of I/O testing and commissioning works. Coordinate within the local site team, working with the Construction manager, MHE project manager, and the project engineer. Skills & Qualifications:
5+ years experience (post-apprenticeship) in industrial electrical trade (mechanical considered, or a tertiary qualification in engineering or construction). Strong, proactive work ethic and strong communication skills. Automation and controls experience preferred. Construction White Card. Driving quality throughout the installation and commissioning process. Understanding of site, electrical, and mechanical schematics. Literacy in MS Office suite, such as Teams, Projects, etc. Knowledge of Australian Standards as it relates to electrical and automation installation. Experience in handover of commissioned equipment desirable. Driver's License. Are you up for the job?
