Network & Security Engineer

Partner with the Technology team to develop and implement a strategic technology plan aligning with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:

HPE Aruba, WAF (Imperva or similar platforms), Fortinet and Checkpoint FW administration is key. Manage perimeter firewalls, web application firewalls, network access control policies, WiFi, data centre routing, and enterprise networking. Architect new unified communication solutions and collaborate with project teams to design network solutions supporting various deliverables. Address 2nd and 3rd Level Service Calls, System Incidents, Change Requests, and Work Orders. Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify and address technology infrastructure needs and provide technical guidance for projects and initiatives. Assist in hardware and system implementations, including network equipment and technology upgrades, relocation, and refresh. Identify, monitor, and define the requirements for the overall optimisation and security of the network infrastructure. Plan, engineer, and monitor security arrangements for the protection of network systems. Create solutions to address existing threats and security issues. Configure and implement intrusion detection systems and firewalls. Address all allocated first and second level service calls, system incidents, change requests, and work orders from the Technology team. Technical Skills:
Firewalls, Azure and AWS cloud networking, VMware NSX, MPLS, HPE Aruba (ClearPass, Aruba Central, Airwave, Anchor Controller), Fortinet SDWAN, Imperva or similar WAF platforms. Extensive knowledge and expertise in network architectures, technologies, and topologies. Experience configuring and administering Checkpoint and Fortinet. Excellent technical skills and knowledge relating to the installation and support of network technologies, including Perimeter Firewalls Policy management, proxy, remote access, IDS/IPS, access control, B2B VPNs, VIP Load Balancing, switching & routing, and telephony. Experience in implementing and maintaining SASE/SSE network architecture such as Netskope and Cloudflare.
