Network Architect

$1300 per day Federal Government Department Melbourne   Looking to join one of Australia's most integral federal government departments ?
This department helps to make life of all Australians travel safer and is looking for a Network Architect.
Based in the Brisbane or Melbourne office, you will be designing and delivering a range of projects consisting of data, information, radio and IT infrastructure .
Aside from the above you will be responsible for   Partnering with service providers on network architecture Working with external agencies on collaborative projects Network architecture – data, applications and other technologies Assisting in project delivery as required Working with senior stakeholders   This role is working with a federal government department so Australian citizenship is mandatory due to security requirements .
Ideally you will have a baseline clearance , if not, you must be able to qualify for one.
We are keen to speak with candidates that can demonstrate:   10 + years experience in network architecture Hybrid cloud solution architecture Software Defined Network (SDN) design Firewalls – Palo Alto, Checkpoint Proxies, performance etc – F5 and Bluecoat ITSM, ITIL, ISO27001 expertise would be ideal This is a contract role to start ASAP until June 2025 .
Rates on offer up to $1300 per day based on your skills and experience.
This role can be based in either Melbourne or Brisbane and has a 2 day work from home arrangement.
