We deliver better outcomes for more than 13,000 people in our community, combining best practice with a social heart.About the RoleThe NDIS Coordinator will work collaboratively with the Local Area Coordination, Community, and Early Childhood teams (Tas) to support the implementation of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). This position provides an office-based presence being based in Baptcare hubs. Provide information linkage and capacity building support working with communities to build awareness, capacity, and improve opportunity for people with disability to participate as active citizens.Experience and Key Selection CriteriaEngages in person-led practices:Builds individual and family capacity to clarify their goals, exercise choice and control, and to participate in the community.Completes all planning pathway tasks with participants in a timely manner and in accordance with NDIA practices.Engages with service providers and supports people with disabilities to access their services.Operates within Baptcare policies and procedures and quality framework.Makes an active commitment to the development and maintenance of a cohesive team both within Baptcare and the NDIA and participates in staff meetings, team meetings, and staff development.Behaves in a way that contributes to a workplace that is free of discrimination, harassment, and bullying.Develops, measures, and reviews participant outcomes within the Baptcare Outcomes Framework.Participates in meaningful community engagement and capacity building.Employs effective written and verbal communication skills including computer skills and competent use of IT and data systems.Utilises excellent organisational, time management, and self-direction skills.About YouYou are passionate about continuing to grow your career in the NDIS space.
