The Australian Sports Commission is embarking on the Green and Gold decade.

About the team – The Performance Systems and Paralympic Partnerships (PSPP) Branch, plays a critical role in driving Australia's High Performance 2032+ Sport Strategy, with a dedicated focus on leveraging the strategic partnerships within the high performance system, and enhancing Paralympic sport outcomes.
This branch collaborates with key high-performance partners to deliver system-wide initiatives and projects that strengthen the high performance ecosystem.
Through its strategic leadership, the team ensures that all initiatives and partnerships are geared towards elevating Paralympic sport and achieving sustained success on the world stage.
About the role –You will be responsible for overseeing the development and operation of Paralympic Units across the State Institutes and Academies of Sport (SISSAS).
Ensuring units are aligned with Australia's HP objectives as it relates to Para Sport, and are delivering high-quality, multi-sport programs that support the development of para-athletes.
Providing leadership and oversight to the Paralympic Units within each of the SISSAS, ensuring they operate in alignment with national Paralympic Unit objectives About you –  Extensive experience in managing or overseeing high-performance sport programs, preferably within a multi-sport or Paralympic context.
Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects with a focus on strategic outcomes.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
A deep understanding of the Paralympic movement and a commitment to advancing opportunities for para-athletes.
Experience working within the Paralympic sector or with para-athletes (preferred, not essential).
Familiarity with governance structures and reporting requirements within a high-performance sport environment (proffered, not essential).
Experience in data analysis and the use of insights to drive program improvement (preferred, not essential).
This position is offered as a FIXED TERM position until 30 June 2026 with the possibility of being extended or made ongoing.
