Partnering with the Senior Leadership Team and reporting to the HR Manager, you will work closely with the business to embed a culture of care, compliance, and continuous improvement in Health & Safety.
Key responsibilities include:

Ensuring compliance with Australian Work Health and Safety (WHS) legislation and industry standards

Ability to travel quarterly to New Zealand or as required

What We Need From You
To qualify, you will need a tertiary qualification in Health and Safety and a minimum of 3 years experience in a health and safety role, ideally within a multi-site or distributed environment. Strong working knowledge of WHS legislation, regulations, and compliance frameworks is essential, along with demonstrated experience in:

Conducting workplace safety audits, investigations, and risk assessments

Designing and delivering engaging safety training and workshops
A proactive approach to compliance and risk mitigation strategies
Strong data analysis skills to drive evidence-based decision-making

As our ideal candidate, you will possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, a collaborative and hands-on approach, and the ability to influence and engage at all levels. Analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively will also set you up for success.
This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven professional to lead and embed a safety-first culture while making a significant impact in a thriving, essential and sustainable industry.
Salary & Benefits
In return for your hard work, you will receive an attractive salary circa $125,000 to $145,000 (depending on skills and experience) PLUS super and additional benefits including:
