Overview:
Achieve Group are seeking highly skilled and versatile individuals to join our team as Civil Construction Multi-Skill Machine Operators. As a key member of our clients construction crew, you will play a crucial role in various civil construction projects. This role is Townsville based with some work in the Mission Beach area. Key Responsibilities:
Operate Heavy Machinery:
Proficiently operate a range of heavy construction equipment, including watercarts, loaders, excavators, skid steer, truck, graders, and rollers. Site Preparation:
Perform tasks such as rolling, spraying and loading to prepare construction sites for various projects. Material Handling:
Safely load, transport, and unload materials using heavy machinery as required for project needs. Equipment Maintenance:
Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any issues promptly. Safety Compliance:
Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols, maintaining a safe work environment for yourself and the team. Collaboration:
Work closely with construction crews and supervisors to ensure efficient project execution. Problem Solving:
Troubleshoot equipment issues and make minor repairs when possible.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a multi-skill machine operator in civil construction projects. Valid heavy equipment operator's license or certification. Strong understanding of safety procedures and regulations. Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Physical fitness and the ability to work in various weather conditions. Strong communication skills and teamwork abilities.
