Motel Manager  Acacia Motor Inn is a motel based in Armidale NSW 2350. We are seeking an outstanding and energetic Motel Manager to join our growing team. This opportunity will suit a driven and enthusiastic Motel Management Professionals looking for a new opportunity within a dynamic and expanding accommodation business. 
Responsibilities: Facilities Management:Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of all motel facilities, including rooms, common areas, and outdoor spaces.Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any maintenance issues promptly.Coordinate with external contractors for major repairs and renovations.Manage inventory and procurement of maintenance supplies and equipment.Manage motel's breakfast services and revise the menu as required.Guest Services:Handling guest inquiries, online enquires, reservations, and check-ins/check-outs.Resolve guest complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner.Ensure the cleanliness, security and comfort of guest rooms and common areas.Team Management:Manage and supervise the work of staff.Train and develop staff to maintain high standards of service.Create and enforce clear policies and procedures.Budgeting, Cost Control and Reporting:Monitor and control facility maintenance costs.Develop and implement cost-saving strategies.Reconciliation of debtor's accounts.Assist in accounting and financial work and reporting if required by the team members.Oversee profit and loss.Prepare regular reports on facility expenses and performance. Qualifications and Skills: Proven experience in facilities management, preferably in the hospitality industry.Strong understanding of building maintenance and repair techniques.Excellent organisational and time management skills.Leadership quality and ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Proficiency in computer software, including property management systems.Self-driven with outstanding managerial skills with minimum of Diploma or higher qualification in the similar stream. A valid driver's license.The position is a live on-site full-time position; the modern 2 Bedroom furnished residence is comfortable with bathrooms and full kitchen. As a successful candidate, you will be offered immediate start and on a negotiable salary
