Mortgage Credit Analyst

The Role:
We are excited to offer an opportunity for an experienced Mortgage Credit Analyst to join our growing team. In this key role, you will facilitate the smooth transition from gathering critical information, conducting serviceability, packaging and verifying loan applications from submission to funding.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support the Broker in preparing and submitting loan applications.
Ensure all loan applications meet lender and compliance guidelines.
Provide timely and accurate information to customers, and assist in pre and post loan inquiries.
Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and lenders.
Collate and manage all necessary documentation for loan applications.
Update and maintain customer files and tracking systems.
Work collaboratively with team members to achieve targets.

About You:

Minimum 2 years of experience working in a similar role in mortgage broking with strong knowledge of mortgage products and lending criteria.
Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities, with a can-do attitude.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in computer skills with experience using financial software and CRM systems relevant to the mortgage industry.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
Strong time management and organisational skills, with a proven history of prioritising and meeting deadlines.
Ability to manage high pressure situations in a calm and professional manner.
Proven ability to establish and nurture positive relationships with all stakeholders, including clients, Lender BDMs, Real Estate Agents, Buyers Agents and Solicitors.
Certificate IV or Diploma in Finance & Mortgage Broking (Preferred).

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
Schedule:

Monday to Friday

Working in a similar role in mortgage broking: 2 years (Preferred)

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Bondi Junction, NSW 2022
