We currently have an opportunity for an enthusiastic and adaptable professional to fill the fulltime role of Warehouse Supervisor (morning shift) at our Albury branch.
About the role: Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be required to manage a team of up to 10 people and organise, supervise and control all work activity relating to receival, replenishment, assembly, loading and delivery of products is conducted accurately and product integrity is maintained. This is a physical position with some heavy lifting.
Duties: Maintain all equipment service and maintenance schedulesCoach, mentor and execute performance management as requiredControl and reduce warehouse expenses by minimising damages, wastage and overtimeLiaise with the Operations Manager regarding labour requirements and work process changesPromote safe working procedures and ensure policies are implemented and adhered toConduct internal audits of the Quality and HACCP based food systemsMaintain truck run schedules and despatched truck registersSkills and Experience: Current Forklift licence (essential)Truck licence (advantageous)Proven experience in warehousing and distribution management and inventory controlExceptional time management and communication skillsComputer literacy, including the ability to quickly learn internal systemsExperience managing rosters and resources within budget constraintsAn understanding of HACCP, WHS and HRAble to provide leadership and motivation to a teamApplicants may be subject to a pre-employment medicalIf you believe you are the right person to join our business, please apply with your current resume.
