We have an exciting opportunity for a Receiving/Team Leader to join our Eastern Creek warehouse team. This position will coordinate and manage the daily activities for the receiving function.
Key responsibilities include, not limited to: Ensures timely execution of Warehouse Operations allocated tasks for all functional areas. Thorough understanding of the physical and systems requirements warehouse operations. Liaison with internal key stakeholders, suppliers and external customers. Train, coach and ensure operation staff have sufficient knowledge to perform successfully in their assigned roles. Ensure the teams function as a productive unit by providing individual direction as required. Assume the position of acting supervisor in periods of extended absence as required. Able to demonstrate competency in other Warehouse operation functional areas. Check Work Queue for daily replenishment tasks. Action stock availability reports as necessary. Experience and Skills required: 2-3 years experience in a similar role. Order Picker and Forklift License. Experience in warehousing. Experience managing employees. Communicate clearly and concisely, both written and verbal. Attention to Detail, identifies errors and suggests improvements. Is able to prioritise activities based on changing circumstances.
