Clerk Grade: 7/8 - starting salary $106,025 + super

Location: Parramatta and/or McKell (Sydney)

About the role
This role is part of the Talent Acquisition & Onboarding Division within the DCS Mobility Team.
As a Mobility Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in providing empathetic support and guidance to staff impacted by organizational changes.
You will empower individuals to navigate career transitions with confidence, offering compassionate communication and equitable opportunities for professional growth.

Your main responsibilities and duties will include but are not limited to:
Provide personalized advice and guidance to impacted staff members in mobilizing across roles within DCS and across the public sector.
Deliver end-to-end mobility services in line with best practice, legislation, and guidelines.
Build and maintain strong relationships and influence hiring managers and decision makers at different levels.
Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills with a natural ability to empathize and communicate sympathetically.
Collaborate closely with diverse stakeholders at all levels, working in alignment with government policy and guidelines to advise on best practice.
Conduct career coaching sessions to enhance candidates' job readiness and confidence.
Ensure fairness and equity in the selection and placement process.
About you
You demonstrate experience working within a HR/Talent role with knowledge of talent acquisition or HR processes and policies within a government environment.
You maintain a high level of attention to detail, responding quickly and accurately to critical information.
You are organized and self-motivated, capable of executing key tasks in a high-pressure environment.
You possess a broad knowledge of candidate sourcing techniques and strategies for role matching experience.
You prioritize clear and open communication with customers and stakeholders, understanding and interpreting their needs.
You lead with an empathetic approach, providing support and proactively solving problems during times of change.
Experience with Case Management in a HR environment or knowledge of IR/ER practices will be highly regarded.
