Job description Working Hours | 37.5 Hours per week
Salary: £30,000 – £34,000
We are seeking a Desk Delivery Manager to support the Project Manager by managing all back-office resources to ensure targets (Operational & Commercial) are achieved throughout the lifecycle of the project. This role will enable the PM to focus on Stakeholder Relationships, Commercials & overall performance of the project while providing a roadmap for the Assistant Manager to gain the knowledge & experience required to become a competent project manager for future projects.
The key responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to the following tasks:
Support the project manager through management of the back office and field force. Assist with training and coordination of tasks to ensure sufficient work in line with targets. Ensure that the workforce is fully accredited in all Openreach, council, and MJQ requirements, working in line with MJQ accredited training school. Chair and attend meetings with internal and external stakeholders. Verify all direct labour timesheets. Verify all subcontractor invoices. Ensure all DFEs are captured and applied for. Ensure that all customer targets are met. Maintain a strong fluidity of work. Compile accurate reports of all work aspects. Work safely and responsibly within MJ Quinn's values and operational policies, procedures, and accepted behaviours to avoid harm to yourself, those around you, and our neighbours and communities. Be proactive to adapt any current processes and improve efficiencies of current ways of working. Ensure that all systems are kept up to date with accurate information (Depot net/CRM). Ensure that all costs attributed against the project are accurate and captured fully. Maintain a strong WIP position for the project. Build a strong working relationship with the project team. Build a strong relationship with the customer. Ensure that all company policies are adhered to. Help develop the team to aid progression within the business and ensure that everyone is performing to the best of their abilities. To be effective in this role, the Desk Delivery Manager will need to:
Maintain and build a good working relationship with internal and external stakeholders including colleagues, customers, suppliers, and senior management teams. Work efficiently and effectively as part of a team. Communicate effectively with all other departments. Complete weekly measurements with clients with supporting documentation supplied to the PMO. Deliver quality service to the client ensuring that performance standards and contractual KPIs and SLAs are met.
