Tara Forklift Services has a vacancy for a Diesel Motor Mechanic at their business.
This is a permanent, full-time position.
Skills, Qualifications and Experience To qualify for this position, you will have:
AQF Certificate III in Forklift Technology, or equivalent or relevant experience or AQF Certificate III Mechanical Trade, or equivalent or relevant experience Minimum 5 years' experience Prior servicing, diagnostics and hydraulic experience Demonstrated understanding of electrical systems Ability to diagnose problems with forklifts or equipment using scanning tools and computers Experience in repairs and replacement of defective parts with reference to service manuals Completing scheduled services to ensure customer requirements and service agreements are upheld and to ensure the safety of the customer's equipment Inspecting and performing routine check-ups of key components including engine, steering, transmission, suspension, and brakes Repairing damaged parts, units, malfunctions or deficiencies with the forklift or equipment Test driving equipment to verify that faults have been rectified Remuneration/Salary $73,150 to $80,000 per annum
Remuneration will reflect current market conditions and industry award rates, to be discussed with the successful applicant.
