Underground Mine SurveyorNorthern Star Resources have a fantastic and rewarding opportunity for an experiencedUnderground Mine Surveyorto join the Mining - Underground team at the Mt Charlotte operation,residentially based in Kalgoorlie- the Heart of the Goldfields.Mount Charlotte is a historic mine that has been backed with significant investment in recent years, resulting in a long-term exciting future for the growing team of mining specialists leading, operating, and maintaining the mine.Thisresidential8:6 rostered position, working 12 hours with the unique benefit of being less than a 10-minute drive to any front door in Kalgoorlie, be home every night.Key tasks include:Setting out and marking up production drill plans ahead of the drill schedule.Carry out end of month processes for development and stope reconciliation.Collaborating with the Senior Mining Engineers (Planning and Production) and the Mine Foreman, to ensure the survey priorities align with the operational team.Performing regular cavity monitoring scans (CMS) on the sub level open stopes and within the sub level cave areas that require regular scanning.Diamond drilling set outs and collar pickups in line with the geological requirements for grade control and reserve definition drilling programs.Training and mentoring the Surveying Graduates and vacation students in the correct methods and standards for Underground Surveying.Requirements:Experience in Underground gold mining.Ability to obtain Mine Surveyors' Certificate Grade One (1).Experience with Surpac and Deswik Software.Experience with Leica Instruments.Must reside in the Goldfields region, or willing to be relocated for this residential operation.Current Unencumbered Western Australian "C" Class Drivers Licence.Ready to pursue your professional journey with Northern Star?
