About the role: We are looking for an experienced Marketing Specialist with a passion for design and a creative mindset to drive marketing initiatives.
The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in executing marketing plans to promote our projects to local and diverse international audiences.
The Marketing Specialist will collaborate with our national marketing and cross-functional teams to ensure our brand message is effectively communicated and resonates with our target audiences.
This role will provide studio marketing representation for our Brisbane, Canberra, and Auckland studios.
It would be Brisbane (or Canberra) based with travel required to the Canberra and Auckland studios approximately monthly to maintain strong connections in each location and conduct face-to-face meetings to assist with planning and collation of material form each studio.
This role will work directly with our national marketing team, with key Directors championing marketing in each studio providing context to upcoming marketing opportunities, guidance on priorities for each location, and facilitating engagement from each studio team to support marketing efforts.
Responsibilities: Develop and Execute Marketing Plans: Work with the oversight of our National Marketing team who will define the overarching Marketing Strategy and the focus of content required from the studios to facilitate delivering that strategy.
Create and implement comprehensive marketing plans to promote our projects for Brisbane, Canberra, and Auckland.
Collaborate with the design and project teams to gather insights and create compelling marketing materials.
Content Creation: Generate creative and engaging content, including written materials, visuals, and multimedia, to showcase our projects.
Work with the national marketing team to create content for the practice's website and social media channels to ensure a consistent and compelling online presence.
CRM Management: Using Hub Spot, our Brisbane studio is piloting an implementation of this CRM to effectively track pipeline opportunities and focus business development efforts.
You will be responsible for the system's management, ensuring its timely updates and will facilitate relevant connection of external stakeholders with our Brisbane leads.
If this pilot is proven successful, this database may be extended to other studios or migrated to another platform Brand Management: Maintain and enhance the firm's brand image, ensuring consistency across all marketing materials.
Enforce brand guidelines locally to uphold a strong and recognisable identity, working as relevant with graphic designers and other team members preparing presentation material.
Event Coordination: Working with local studio management and admin, assist in planning and coordinating events, exhibitions, and presentations to showcase our work.
Identify and secure opportunities for the firm's participation in industry events.
Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends and competitors to identify opportunities for differentiation.
Work with national marketing to understand the preferences and expectations of our clientele and adapt content to support.
Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with internal teams, including the national marketing team, architects, designers, researchers, sustainability and more to gather information and insights for marketing initiatives.
Communicate effectively with external partners, media outlets, and stakeholders.
Qualifications and skillsets: Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Relevant post grad qualifications a preference but not essential.
Experience in a consulting or similar role, providing guidance and outcome delivery across geographies also a plus.
Minimum 5 years proven experience in marketing, preferably in the architecture or design industry.
Strong creative and strategic thinking skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in digital marketing tools including social media platforms (Instagram, Linked In), email marketing, Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and content creation software including Adobe Creative Suite.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
