Job Description Manage and oversee all aspects of the payroll process for 300-350 staff weekly. Prepare accurate monthly payroll reports for management. Ensure compliance with all relevant payroll taxes and employment laws. Provide timely and accurate information to employees regarding payroll enquiries. Perform year-end processing duties, such as preparation of tax documents. Work closely with the HR department to ensure accurate record keeping. Participate in payroll system upgrades and testing as part of ongoing project. Maintain confidentiality of all payroll information. The Successful Applicant The successful Payroll Officer should have:
Exposure to end-to-end payroll is ideal; however, candidates with 1-2 years in non-end-to-end roles will be considered. Strong knowledge of payroll best practices and legislation. Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Excel. Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
