We are currently looking for an experienced Metallurgical / Materials Technician to join our team. To be considered for this opportunity, it's essential that you hold relevant tertiary qualifications and a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar position.Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Perform maintenance of mechanical testing and NDT equipmentAssisting with the update of manufacture, mechanical, CVI sheets and NDT work instructionsAssisting with the development of special testing equipment including water weights, load cell equipment and additional NDT equipmentPerforming load testing and MPI both offsite (including offshore) and within the workshopAssisting in the installation and recovery of mooring systemsRepairs to lifting and mooring equipmentThis is a full time position and a remuneration package between $73,150 and $75,000 will be negotiated with the successful candidate.
