Join our team and help us optimize and elevate our operations to new heights.We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Metal Machinist to join our team on full-time basis working a minimum of 38 hours per week. The ideal candidate will play a key role in optimizing our processes, improving efficiency, and contributing to the overall success of our operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to streamline production workflows, reduce waste, and implement cost-saving solutions.Key Responsibilities:•Operate and maintain lathe and milling machines.•Reviews drawings, instructions, blueprints or samples to ensure accurate production.•Take precise measurements for cutting or shaping.•Select appropriate machine and settings for a given task.•Plans proper sequence of tasks to complete the assignment.•Review drawings and blueprints and plan the sequence of tasks to complete the job.•Operate bending machines safely and efficiently by setting up the machine according to specifications, loading materials, and executing the bending process.•Shaping, turning, drilling, grinding, and milling metal parts to specifications, or creating new parts.•Responsible for ensuring that bent materials meet quality standards and specifications. Inspecting finished products for defects, measuring dimensions, and adjusting the machine as necessary to achieve the desired results•Inspect and test finished products.•Maintain production and quality logs, and planning stock inventory.•Follow safety rules and consult with engineers and co-workers•Communicate with supervisors, engineers, or other team members regarding production schedules, quality issues, and machine performance.Qualifications:•Relevant Qualifications desired but not mandatoryExperience•Minimum 3 -5 years (full-time) experience as a Metal MachinistSkills•Strong analytical skills and experience with process modelling and analysis tools.•A strong grasp of computer-aided design (CAD) and computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) software.•Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
