A provider of culturally competent community-based and outreach health care services since 1993; this organisation is a vibrant not-for-profit, servicing over 50 communities throughout remote and rural Queensland.
Position Description:
The organisation is currently seeking adaptable Psychologists (various levels), Accredited Mental Health Nurses, Mental Health Occupational Therapists, and Accredited Mental Health Social Workers to join their team as a Mental Health Professional. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver high-quality mental health assessment, treatment and intervention services, as well as engagement and educational activities within the community. This role is offered on a full-time or part-time basis to suit your lifestyle! This position can also be Fly In Fly Out (FIFO) out of Townsville or Cairns, with telehealth options on your off week for full-time employees. You will travel to various culturally diverse communities across the Northern Queensland regions. The team often covers a lot of distance and it won't always be easy, but it will be memorable. Helping those who may not otherwise receive healthcare and support, you'll get to see the real difference your work makes in people's lives, allowing clients to live and receive treatment locally. It's challenging, but we make a difference. The organisation is seeking dedicated individuals who are culturally sensitive and adaptable, with the ability to work both independently and autonomously.
Qualifications & Experience:
Seasoned candidates are encouraged to apply, provided you have current registration with AHPRA, and AASW (if applying as a Social Worker). Suitable professions include:

Salary Information:
In return for your hard work and dedication, you'll receive an excellent starting salary ranging from $76,000 to $97,000, commensurate with your qualifications and experience, PLUS a range of additional benefits, including:
