Membership and Sponsorship Manager West CoastThe Association of Mining and Exploration Companies (AMEC) is a national industry representative body for mineral exploration and mining throughout Australia with a broad and diverse membership base across Australia. See www.amec.org.au for further information on the organisation.An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated individual as our West Coast Membership and Sponsorship Manager. In this role, you will play a crucial role in retaining existing members through engagement and proactive support and developing member growth through typical Business Development activities including the communication of AMEC's advocacy and achievement outcomes.Reporting to the General Manager - Operations and working closely with the CEO, WA/NT Director, SA Director, Events Manager, and the Administration Team, the Membership and Sponsorship Manager West Coast is accountable for fostering new members and managing the retention of existing members. This will include:Responding to Member and Membership enquiries quickly.Ensuring Membership information is accurate in the CRM and other membership administration.Representing AMEC at industry events in WA, SA, and NT.Developing and maintaining strong relationships with members to ensure maximum engagement.Enhancing the membership experience by working with the team to deliver sponsorship solutions aligned with events.This role will require:An innovative and proactive approach to your work.Understanding or the ability to gain an understanding of key challenges in the mining and exploration industry.The ability to work autonomously, professionally, and motivated with the ability to thrive in a collaborative team.An aptitude for managing Customer Relationship data and databases.Strong stakeholder engagement skills including written and verbal communication.A competitive remuneration package is available to attract an outstanding candidate for the role.
