Medicolegal Typist

Davis Recruitment is a specialist agency for the placement Permanent Support Staff to the Medical/Healthcare This is a unique role for a Psychiatrist with a Medicolegal Practice specialising in expert advises for Personal Injury and other Claims.

This position is part-time or casual role. The hours will vary between 10 hours to 26 hours per week. This Specialist works 50% of the working year. Therefore, all school holidays (11+ weeks per year) can be taken as leave (this may appeal to some candidates).There will be another 15 weeks that can be taken at reduced hours (eg. 10 hours per week) and the remainder of the year when the Specialist is in rooms, the hours will be approx 26 hours per week. The exact arrangement of the hours/status can be negotiated with the successful candidate.

This role is not the usual medical secretary role. It does require managing the diary of a Specialist with a modern streamlined practice. However, patient numbers are very limited.

This role will involve: Lengthy medical report typing Editing documents Full case not management Liaising with Law firms to manage patient attendance and report processing The skills we seek: Solid Medical or Legal Typing experience Confident Word Skills Enjoy working 1:1 as a reliable and essential part of this business Salary: Commensurate with Skills but expected to be uniquely negotiated for this unique role!
