We are looking for an energetic and professional individual to join our Brisbane team on a permanent full-time basis as a Patient Services Officer. You will be responsible for providing friendly administrative support to our staff and clinicians, booking and rescheduling appointments, and liaising with hospital staff and doctors.
You impact, with us: Check patient GP referrals with Medicare ensuring data accuracyTimely processing of correspondence to referrers and patientsRespond to incoming phone calls promptly and provide a professional service in line with expectationsBilling and receipting of patient accountsWork with colleagues and other administrative staff to achieve efficient and effective management of medical appointments and other related clinical information via the Health Track system.What you'll bring: Administration or customer service experience, preferably in health or aged careAn ability to carefully plan, organise and prioritise tasksAn understanding of customer service principles with an ability to respond sensitively to patient needsExperience in billing/receipting medical accounts, Medicare and DVA billing preferredAn ability to work effectively, both independently and in a teamThe ability to work under pressure and respond to fluctuating workflow and internal/external demands.Why Advara HeartCare We're a values-driven organisation where every person matters.
