Medical Receptionist required full-time for Medical Specialists based in new rooms at The Wesley Hospital. This position will suit applicants seeking full-time across 5 days per week or possibly 4 long days (working full-time) or applicants seeking 4 days per week (30-32 hours per week). Therefore, hours are negotiable. FREE on-site parking available.
We are seeking a warm, friendly receptionist to work in a small team with 4 Specialists. This position is high volume reception and the practice has clinics most days.
The administrative team are required to provide prompt, efficient and consistent support to our doctors to enable optimal provision of outpatient services. This clinic believes in creating and maintaining a work environment in which our team members can thrive, making contributions to improvements in how we deliver our service to patients.
Experience we value: Experience in healthcare industry preferred
We are seeking a positive, efficient, motivated and initiative-driven individual with a strong work ethic to assist with the following:

Greeting and checking-in patients on arrival at the clinicBilling consultationsManage doctors' schedulesBooking and managing patient appointments and referralsAnswering the telephone and handling patient queries and requestsEmail managementSending and processing confidential patient correspondenceLiaising with other hospitals, doctors and medical practicesHealth fund and Medicare claim processing and billingScanning and uploading information into patient chartsMaintaining our new rooms, ensuring all areas are clean, tidy and ready for the start of each clinicEnsuring patient confidentiality is maintained at all timesAd hoc tasks as directed by the Practice ManagerWhat we are seeking in the role: Strong attention to detail is essentialAn ability to multi-task and an eagerness to learnGood typing and data entry skillsExcellent written and verbal communicationExperience working in a medical practiceStrong time management skills and accountabilityProfessional presentation with outstanding mannersExperience using Clinic to Cloud medical software is ideal, but not mandatory as training can be provided for rapid upskilling.Employee benefits: A happy, inclusive work environment with friendly, supportive colleaguesSubsidised parking on siteCoffee machine and kitchen facilities in our brand new medical suiteTo apply for this position, please contact Julie Davis on 0438192167 or email an application to: ******.
