Medical Receptionist

IPN Medical Centres support the Australian community, operating over 160 Practices across the country and providing over 10 million patient consultations each year. IPN forms part of Sonic Healthcare, a leading global healthcare company headquartered in Australia.  About the role
IPN's Receptionists provide a high standard of customer service and administration to patients and Doctors. Supporting the successful running of the centre the role includes:
Managing confidential patient recordsGreeting patients, answering telephone calls, patient triage and booking patient appointmentsDocument scanning and email managementPatient billing and payment collectionWorking as part of a team supporting the Practice ManagerSkills & experience Medical receptionist experience (highly regarded but not essential)Strong proficiency in, or ability to quickly pick up document scanning processes.Ability to develop quality working relationships and work in a busy team environmentExceptional customer service, data entry and communication skillsProven multi-tasking, problem solving and time management skillsExperience using Best Practice or other practice management software (highly desirable but not essential)Benefits Professional development supportCareer-progression opportunitiesFlexible working arrangementsExperienced teams and a safe environmentHow to apply
