A Single Fellowship with Joint Training Committee Paediatric Emergency Medicine training or a Dual fellowship is required.Remuneration up to $543,127 p.a.SCHHS Salary includes:Base salary comprising of between $8,062.00 - $10,221.70 p.f.Motor vehicle allowanceL18 - L24 - $21,000 p.a.L25 - L27 - $25,500 p.a.Clinical Managers Allowance $29,442 p.a.Department of Emergency Medicine Allowance 25% of base salaryAttraction and Retention Allowance up to 50% of base salaryProfessional development allowance $21,500 p.a.You may be eligible to receive $10,000 (less tax) on the first available pay period (pro-rata rate for part-time employees will apply)You may also be eligible to receive $10,000 (less tax) following completion of 12 months of service (pro-rata rate for part-time employees will apply)The role of the Medical Director, Paediatric Emergency Medicine (PEM) is to provide high-quality clinical and non-clinical leadership and direction to benefit the patients accessing the Paediatric Emergency Medicine Services in the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS).In addition to your clinical and professional expertise, you must have skills in managing people, leadership, and sustainable financial decision accountability.SCHHS is a dynamic health service provider that delivers high-quality cost-effective, innovative healthcare in collaboration with our communities and partners.
