The practice has a standout reputation and it is built on providing exceptional service to patients.
A vacancy has become available for a friendly, service-oriented individual to join their intimate team.
The person filling this role will be the face of our practice and a cornerstone in maintaining high standards of patient care.
Key Responsibilities: Provide front-line administrative and reception support to three cardiologists.
Answer phone calls, manage patient inquiries, and ensure all interactions align with our service standards.
Book and monitor clinic appointments, ensuring efficient scheduling for 10-12 patients daily.
Make outbound calls for appointment coordination and follow-ups.
Process patient billings using Genie software and handle payments (EFT, credit card, cash).
Prepare invoices, issue receipts, and manage Medicare claims.
Ensure the readiness and cleanliness of the reception area and consulting rooms.
Perform opening and closing duties of the clinic daily.
Manage patient records, collate information packages, and provide administrative support as needed.
What We're Looking For: Previous experience in medical administration, particularly in a medical specialist practice.
Strong interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, and a friendly, welcoming demeanour.
Exceptional time management, organisational skills, and the ability to multitask.
Familiarity with Genie software or similar medical management systems.
A positive attitude towards learning, as training and development will be provided.
Ability to work independently as the sole person on the front desk while also being a strong team player.
