About the Role We are seeking a highly organised, enthusiastic administration professional with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service to join our respected Medical Administration and Reception team at Ramsay Clinic Northside.
In this role, you will be responsible for the admitting of both inpatient and day patients, management of patient records, appointments and procedures, processing patient invoices and receipts.
You will also be responsible for effectively performing administrative duties in line with our Ramsay Core Values to meet the needs of our customers and clinicians.
This position will include both administration and reception duties.
About you To be successful you will be a well-presented individual who possesses highly developed communication skills, is flexible and excels in a multi-disciplined team environment.
You will also bring: Experience in a hospital administration environment.
Previous experience in an administrative/reception/day procedure administrative role (desirable).
Experience in a Hospital mainframe systems e.g.
Meditech Booking of patient appointments.
Processing patient payments, making Medicare and health fund claims.
A level of competence in using a medical patient management system (Blue Chip).
Competent in use of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams applications.
Great organization and time management skills.
Ability to use initiative and a willingness to learn new skills and systems.
Ability to interview, support and liaise with patients regarding suitability of the services available.
Excellent customer service, organisational and communication skills and high level of attention to detail A basic understanding of Medical Terminology Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment.
