Dual Role - Sustaining and NPD EngineeringSalary: $100-110k + Super + BonusAbout Our ClientOur client is a global industrial and electrical manufacturer and importer, based in a new, purpose-built facility on the Central Coast in Somersby.As an employer, they can offer:Annual bonus for every employeePaid gym membershipEmployee product discountsExcellent reward and recognition programmeSupportive, tenured, and approachable leadershipStable business with over 100 years in the marketJob DescriptionReporting to the Engineering Manager and working closely with Operations, the role is a 50/50 split between sustaining engineering and NPI:Sustaining engineering - running up to 10 small projects such as small factory changes, minor design updates, etc. - review quality issues and provide technical supportNPI - larger mechanical projects - modification and enhancement projects to productsVery project-driven and working with internal and external resourcesThe Successful ApplicantOur ideal candidate will have:Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronic Engineering5 years minimum experience in mechanical engineering either in manufacturing (medical devices or mining would be great) or product automationProject management experienceExperience with creating engineering drawings/drafting (Solidworks preferred but can be Creo or Iventa)Excellent communication skillsAble to be hands-onLean/Six Sigma training/exposure will be highly regardedWhat's on OfferIn return, you will receive:Competitive salary - $100-110k + superAnnual bonus for every employeePaid gym membershipEmployee product discountsExcellent reward and recognition programmeSupportive, tenured, and approachable leadershipStable business with over 100 years in the market
