Mechnical Engineer

Reporting to the Engineering Manager and working closely with Operations, the role is a 50/50 split between sustaining engineering and NPI:
Sustaining engineering - running up to 10 small projects such as small factory changes, minor design updates, etc. - review quality issues, providing technical support.NPI - larger mechanical projects - modification and enhancement projects to products.Very project driven and working with internal and external resources.Dual Role - Sustaining and NPD Engineering | $100-110k + Super + Bonus
Our ideal candidate will have:
Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronic Engineering.5 years minimum experience in mechanical engineering either in manufacturing (med devices or mining would be great) or product automation.Project management experience.Experience with creating engineering drawings/drafting (Solidworks preferred but can be Creo or Iventa).Excellent communication skills.Able to be hands-on.Lean/Six Sigma training/exposure will be highly regarded.Our client is a global industrial and electrical manufacturer and importer.
