UGL Major Projects division is expecting significant growth for 2025 in Western Australia as we support large Building Services Projects. This is a fantastic opportunity for locals and those open to FIFO and DIDO roles.
Responsibilities: Lead the delivery of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems, for the accommodation units.Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring timely execution of all mechanical installations.Coordinate with project managers, architects, and contractors to ensure alignment and adherence to project specifications.Conduct site inspections and audits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.Provide technical guidance and support to the construction team, troubleshooting mechanical issues as they arise.Manage project budgets and resource allocation for mechanical components.Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including progress reports, specifications, and compliance records.About You 4-year degree qualification to Bachelor status in Mechanical or Mechatronics engineering (and recognised by IEAust).Minimum 7 years' experience as a Mechanical Project Engineer.Have a strong understanding of Building Codes, utilities requirements and building services to be implemented in residential buildings.Proven experience (from concept to completion), as design engineer with full understanding of local construction methodologies throughout all areas of residential development.Experience working on large accommodation villages made up of modular buildings or similar types of projects.Demonstrated ability to work independently to organise and prioritise demands, handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously, set and meet deadlines and follow-through within a fast-paced environment with multiple and competing demands.Strong communication skills (oral & written) including strong negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels both internally and externally.Why Unite with the Very Best A competitive salary working in a rewarding, supportive and successful team.Flexible and blended work environment; make use of leave, flexible working and our 16 weeks paid primary parental leave options.Help create your Individual Development Plan and create significant opportunities for your professional development.A rewarding Wellness Program with AIA Vitality – earn cashback for gym shoes!We'll give you access to a multitude of rewards: Through our partnerships we can offer you discounts across shopping, food and wine, insurance, health and wellbeing, leisure and entertainment.You can also take advantage of our salary sacrifice options including cars, eligible portable electronic devices and professional memberships. #J-18808-Ljbffr
