Your opportunity to join our team Based at our Primary Processing Plant at Murarrie, the Casual Weekend Mechanical Fitter will support our Maintenance team by providing high-quality maintenance and repairs to equipment throughout the plant, with a strong emphasis on preventative maintenance, to achieve acceptable production levels and a high standard in engineering support.
We have shifts available from 5:00am to 3:00pm on Saturdays and Sundays, with potential opportunities for covering sick and annual leave as needed.

Opportunity for future permanent employment Great job security with an ASX listed and stable company The health, safety and wellbeing of our people is our highest priority Fast paced and team focused environment Daily Tasks Attending to repairs and breakdowns of production machinery in a timely manner Reduce reactive maintenance and proactively improve unplanned downtime Assisting in developing introduction maintenance programs to support all internal stakeholders Ensure the execution of safety standards and quality assurance practices into all repairs and maintenance activities Identify and escalate Animal Welfare, Food Safety & Quality issues, hazards and risks You will bring to this role Experience in installations, repairs and maintenance of industrial manufacturing equipment, preferably FMCG industry Experience in fault finding on hydraulic, pneumatic and complex mechanical systems Experience in breakdown as well and preventive maintenance Sound interpersonal skills with the ability to develop relationships, communicate and collaborate effectively with key stakeholders Proven skills in the areas of attention to detail, information processing and problem solving with the ability to multitask Ability to identify and introduce improvements in maintenance practices and plant performance. Experience with Maximo or similar CMMS systems would be advantageous We're looking for people who arecurious, caring, courageous and committed to join us.
