Mechanical Fitter/Machinist

Based in Albury, VK Logic provides Integrated Automation, Electrical and Engineering Services.
We will offer the right candidate:
Excellent Remuneration RDO/Flexibility We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our team in a permanent capacity and support us with various projects.
The work you are initially required to undertake will require frequent travel however you will be home most weekends.
Paid travel, accommodation and living away allowance when required to travel. Your main focus will be to carry out repairs and maintenance of equipment.
In addition, you will also be required to support major overhauls, equipment modifications, installations and commissioning, and assist with projects requiring manufacturing of machined components.
We are seeking a self-motivated person, wishing to upskill and share their experience and knowledge.

To be successful for this position you will have the following skills and attributes: Relevant Trade Qualifications Experienced in machining, minor fabrications and welding. Excellent mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills required. Hydraulics pneumatics experience required. Drawing interpretation Ability to work well both within a team and autonomously. White Card. Advantageous but not essential: TIG & MIG welding. High Risk Work Licences, WAH, EWP and Confined Space preferred.
