Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our dynamic team in Townsville. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing mechanical equipment within our fuel industry operations at Townsville airport.
Key Responsibilities:
Conducting routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical & fuel equipment.
Diagnosing faults and troubleshooting mechanical issues.
Ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Diagnostics and repair in a breakdown environment of fuel related assets and equipment
Project work as required on the fuel installation and related assets and equipment
Support subcontracted work packages as required
Collaborating with team members to optimise operational efficiency.
Requirements:
Australian Trade Qualifications as a Mechanical Fitter.
Australian Citizen.
Live in Townsville or have the ability to move.
Proven experience in the fuel industry preferred.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Current residence in Townsville, QLD, or willingness to relocate.
