About - Student And Scholarly Services Student and Scholarly Services provides student administration and services from recruitment and point of enquiry to graduation.
This team also delivers wellbeing and scholarly services to students and staff.

About The Role The Marketing and Communications Officer will lead Murrup Barak's communications, managing digital content across websites, social media, and other platforms.
The role involves enhancing social media engagement, promoting the student experience, and collaborating on projects with university colleagues.
Additionally, the officer oversees Murrup Barak's visual identity, branding, and merchandising, including the procurement and management of merchandise for key campaigns and events.

Responsibilities include: Undertake relevant training and assessment to manage and maintain online content in Matrix CMS system.
Manage the application of Murrup Barak's visual identity across the University's branding guidelines, monitoring use across digital and print media.
Liaise with internal staff, stakeholders and suppliers to procure required merchandise for Murrup Barak, maintain stock and monitor future merchandising trends.
Innovatively amplify Murrup Barak's presence through strategic digital campaigns and branding.

About You The ideal candidate possesses strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a creative and enthusiastic approach to new projects.
They demonstrate excellent interpersonal abilities, cultural sensitivity, and judgment in managing sensitive stakeholder relationships, alongside well-developed organisational skills to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.

You will also have:
A qualification in a relevant field of study and extensive relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
Experience in developing social media content, managing various channels and monitoring engagement via implementation of a social media communications strategy.
Well-developed professional organisational skills including the ability to coordinate workflow, determine priorities, schedule tasks to meet deadlines and effectively balance competing demands within a high-pressure environment.
