Skykraft delivers Air Traffic Management (ATM) services from space to serve the global market for air traffic surveillance and communications, especially over remote and oceanic regions. The Role Skykraft is looking for a reliable and experienced Manufacturing Manager to join our energetic team developing a satellite constellation to provide Air Traffic Management communication and surveillance services. The successful candidate will have gained experience in a similar industry to Skykraft (e.g., medical devices, low-volume portable consumer products, scientific instruments, OEM equipment supplier, radio communications devices, etc.) but does not need space experience.
Key Responsibilities: Drive Production Processes: Ensuring that the production process runs smoothly and efficiently from planning, scheduling to execution. Managing Resources: This includes estimating costs, preparing budgets, and ensuring that enough resources (workforce and raw materials) are available to meet production goals. Quality Control: Ensure that the products meet the required quality standards and that any issues are promptly addressed. Safety and Compliance: Ensuring that all safety and health standards are met to keep the workplace accident-free. Motivating, supporting, and providing guidance to the production staff to maximize performance. Regularly assessing and improving production processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs. Experience/Knowledge Required: Demonstrated performance in a similar role within a technology-driven organization. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production management. Knowledge of quality control standards and health and safety regulations. A tertiary degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field is desirable. #J-18808-Ljbffr
