The Role Skykraft is looking for a reliable and experienced Manufacturing Manager to join our energetic team developing a satellite constellation to provide Air Traffic Management communication and surveillance services. The successful candidate will have gained experience in a similar industry to Skykraft (e.g., medical devices, low-volume portable consumer products, scientific instruments, OEM equipment supplier, radio communications devices, etc.) but does not need space experience.
Key Responsibilities: Drive Production Processes: Ensuring that the production process runs smoothly and efficiently from planning, scheduling to execution. Managing Resources: This includes estimating costs, preparing budgets, and ensuring that enough resources (workforce and raw materials) are available to meet production goals. Quality Control: Ensure that the products meet the required quality standards and that any issues are promptly addressed. Safety and Compliance: Ensuring that all safety and health standards are met to keep the workplace accident-free. Motivating, supporting, and providing guidance to the production staff to maximize performance. Regularly assessing and improving production processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs. Experience/Knowledge Required: Demonstrated performance in a similar role within a technology-driven organization. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production management. Knowledge of quality control standards and health and safety regulations. A tertiary degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field is desirable. #J-18808-Ljbffr
