Our client specialises in natural products and healthy solutions for families and is proudly Australian and family-owned. The business was established in the 1800s as a pharmaceutical company and has been a primary producer of eucalyptus oil since 1852, harvesting and distilling, along with research and development. Their products are sold Australia-wide through Pharmacies, Grocery stores, online stores, and other selected retail outlets. We are now searching for a Manufacturing Manager.
Role
This role would lead the production and processing operations, from harvest and haulage to processing and supply of crude distilled Eucalyptus Oil to support internal manufacturing requirements. This includes management and maintenance of distillery infrastructure and related farm equipment at the existing site. This role will also play a key role in the design, commissioning and ultimately managing a new distillery facility to be built nearby.
Requirements
Significant experience in mechanical and/or electrical engineering-related management or supervisory roles, ideally with exposure to boiler/pressure vessel equipment and applications.
Previous experience successfully delivering Capital Works Projects to time, quality and budget constraints.
Direct experience managing technical / engineering-based teams developing and implementing maintenance and reliability programmes.
Tertiary qualified in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or related field.
Remuneration and Location
The compensation for this role is very attractive, and it comes with a generous bonus incentive. The location is near Bendigo, Victoria.
