Job details $45.00 Per Hour + Penalties And Overtime Located in Marsden Monday to Friday - Day shift - 6:30am - 2:30pm with overtime starting at 5am Manual Mill And Lathe Operator - Stainless Production The role We are currently seeking a skilled Operator with expertise in operating Manual Mill/Lathe machines to join the company.
This role is key for ensuring the efficient production of components for a range of Stainless Steel, Industrial And Commercial Processing Machinery.
Key Responsibilities Reading specifications outlined in drawings to accurately produce parts.
Preparing the milling machine or lathe for operation by securing workpieces, selecting appropriate cutting tools, and adjusting machine settings such as speed and feed rate.
Occasional general fitting work across range of unique machinery Using manual controls to mill or turn workpieces to the required dimensions and surface finish, ensuring precision and accuracy throughout the process.
Regularly checking the operation of the machines to ensure they are running smoothly and making adjustments as needed to maintain quality and productivity.
Requirements: Proven experience as a Machine Operator, preferably in a manufacturing environment Proficiency in operating Manual Mill/Lathe machines and reading technical drawings Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
