Primary Objective:
Manage and advise on talent acquisition, bulk recruitment, and workforce planning services to optimize strategic workforce and recruitment initiatives.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist in leading and managing a small team of specialists in talent acquisition and workforce planning.
Undertake detailed analysis of the Department's workforce needs and future requirements.
Provide advice and guidance on contemporary talent acquisition and onboarding strategies.
Manage the development and presentation of workforce plans and reporting for decision-making bodies.
Inform and influence managers to adopt effective recruitment and workforce planning practices.
Partner with managers to address complex recruitment and onboarding requirements.
Selection Criteria:
Essential:
Successful high-level experience in workforce planning and recruitment.
Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.
Experience in leading and delivering contemporary recruitment strategies.
High level analytical ability and data analysis skills.
Strong self-management and organizational ability.
Proven performance in providing high-level client services.
Demonstrated ability to respond positively to change and lead teams.
Desirable:
Relevant tertiary qualification in human resource management or a related field.
Experience and understanding of the Northern Territory Public Sector's legislative employment framework.
