Assistant Director, Recruitment and Information Services
Full-time Permanent Details: The Assistant Director, Recruitment and Information Services has multiple priorities, including the oversight of a team delivering recruitment services across the ACT Government. The role incorporates oversite on position management, application management, advertising and onboarding, working closely with senior managers to continuously improve the way services are delivered as a centralised recruitment business.
The role has a focus on end-to-end engagement of employees, involving collaboration with various business partners both internal and external to government. Your leadership will motivate and manage the team to deliver quality services in line with key performing indicators, provide confidence as a subject matter expert in government recruitment practices and legislation as well as create an environment that promotes the values and signature behaviours that define our business. You will be experienced in fostering a customer centric environment with a culture of continuous improvement. More details on the position are provided in the attached Position Description.

Notes: The team is currently working hybrid with a blend of working from office and home. It is a position which requires flexibility to work on site at Winyu House (Gungahlin) when required to support learning and collaboration. This is a full-time permanent opportunity.

Well-developed team leadership and management skills, that enhance broader team capability and effectiveness.
Experience in the interpretation of legislation, policy and statutory frameworks governing recruitment and employment conditions across government.
Demonstrated experience in creating a culture of customer focus and continuous improvement in service quality and process efficiency.
Highly developed interpersonal skills, especially in the areas of written communication, liaison, and negotiation skills.
Experience in data and information gathering ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
