justice.qld.gov.au )Magistrates Courts Service; Queensland Courts Service; Courts and Tribunals; Brisbane CityThis role is responsible for leading a team of over 20 staff based in various locations delivering a range of programs across Magistrates Courts in Queensland, specifically Court Link, Illicit Drugs Court Diversion Program (CDP), Drug and Alcohol Assessment Referrals (DAAR) and Youth Court (Townsville).Responsibilities:Lead the Referral and Support Services team ensuring the appropriate management of financial and human resource responsibilities, performance management and professional development of staff.Provide professional, operational advice to senior management on best practice relating to referral and support services and the delivery of business improvements to maximise the effective use of resources and positive outcomes for court users, including the implementation of new services and/or delivery sites.Prepare operational advice on programs, including reports, briefings, and correspondence.Inform development of policies and procedures and implement operational practice.Develop, maintain, and strengthen effective relationships with service providers and other stakeholders including the judiciary and other government and non-government organisations.Represent the department at stakeholder meetings and maintain effective communications about the work of CIP.Develop and support procurement and contract management processes to achieve program outcomes.Ensure appropriate data collection, analysis, and reporting occurs in a timely and efficient manner to meet internal needs and external performance reporting, monitoring and evaluation and legislative requirements including to inform future policy development and continuous program improvement initiatives.Further information
