In the role of Manager Procurement Policy and Governance, you'll lead a dedicated team focused on shaping and implementing procurement policies and governance practices. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring our department complies with the NSW Government procurement framework across a range of spend categories. By guiding daily activities and allocating resources effectively, you'll support the Chief Procurement Officer in steering our strategic direction.

You will provide and manage consistent messaging across our geographically diverse department while enhancing procurement practices. Building strong relationships with senior stakeholders and central agencies will be crucial for driving high-priority initiatives. Your ability to manage change and implement robust process and policy solutions will help elevate our procurement outcomes and strengthen compliance across the board.

Strong problem-solving abilities to navigate complex challenges and adapt to evolving situations. Proven leadership qualities, including the ability to motivate and inspire others to achieve shared goals. Empathy and emotional intelligence to understand the needs and perspectives of team members and clients.
