We currently have one full time position available for appointment, part time options will be considered for the right candidate. About the Position We are seeking an experienced Manager of Planning and Strategic Initiatives to support our organisation in delivering on its objectives, in alignment with WA Health reform and evidence-based practice both within Perth Children's Hospital, and across the Child & Adolescent Health Service. This is an exciting opportunity to make a direct contribution to the health and well-being of children and adolescents across Western Australia.
You will work closely with your team, and the Director of Clinical Services Strategy, Planning, and Innovation to develop, implement, and evaluate organisation-wide clinical strategies, clinical planning, service development and service delivery initiatives.
Current key areas of focus include the development of CAHS Clinical Service Plan and updates for CAHS to the WA Clinical Service Framework.
Your expertise and ability to engage and collaborate with key stakeholders including clinicians will be key to success in this role.
Key Responsibilities Lead the creation and implementation of strategic initiatives and clinical service plans to meet CAHS objectives and population health needs.Leverage project management skills to ensure initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and budget, while identifying and mitigating potential risks.Work with data and trend analysis to assess service performance, and provide evidence-based recommendations for service improvement.Prepare reports, business cases, and briefings for CAHS Executive; offer high-level advisory support on strategic initiatives and organizational planning.The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in clinical planning within a health or similar complex service environment. Expertise in project management and risk assessment, particularly in relation to health services and funding models will be highly regarded.
About our Team The Clinical Services Strategy, Planning, and Innovation department leads strategic clinical service planning across the Child and Adolescent Health Service, with a focus on enhancing service capabilities while driving innovation and reform.
In collaboration with stakeholders and partners across WA Health, we develop, implement, and review internal and external processes for large-scale clinical service projects, ensuring alignment with community needs and State Government priorities.
