Senior leadership role supporting improved integration of care across the health systemPermanent full-time positionCompetitive salary ($115k-$120k) + not-for-profit salary packaging optionLocations: Hobart, Launceston or Ulverstone – You choose!About the opportunity Primary Health Tasmania has an exciting opportunity for an innovative and proactive manager to join our senior leadership group as Manager – Partnership and Integration. The Partnership and Integration team are significant contributors to improving the primary healthcare system and influencing 'single-system' thinking and improved integration of care, through working with key health system stakeholders – consumers, communities, providers, organisations and system partners.
The work focuses on understanding and influencing the policy context within which we work, advancing key improvements across the health system, driving population health planning and strengthening an integrated approach to safety and quality in health care, to ultimately better health outcomes for Tasmanians. The team has a strong focus on working in partnership, from supporting local community-based health service planning through to working with our partners on key health system reforms.
What would you be doing… Working closely with the General Manager – Health System Improvement, you will:
Lead and develop the Partnership and Integration team, supporting them to reach their full potentialOversee operational functions such as the team's budget, procurement, project activities, and human resources - recruitment and team performance managementFoster productive and trusted relationships with health system stakeholdersIdentify and implement health system quality improvement initiativesDrive innovation through research and evaluation of future initiativesRepresent Primary Health Tasmania at forums and working groupsHere's what you'll look like… Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or demonstrated experience in a leadership role where you have proven success in strategic oversight of business area outcomesKnowledge of the Tasmanian health system and other care sectors and the ability to apply system thinking to innovative improvement initiativesMaster engager and collaborator, able to build and maintain successful relationships with key stakeholders, creating a shared vision and purposeUnderstanding of project management methodology and able to translate this into achieving project objectivesStrong, values-based leadership attributesA culture champion – understanding that every day, you play an important part of what makes Primary Health Tasmania a great place to workBenefits of working with us… Salary packaging up to $15,900 – less tax means more take home payUp to $2,650 of pre-tax income can be used to pay for entertainment expenses (meals, holiday accommodation etc.)Hybrid working option – blend of working from the office and home-based office (after 6 months of employment)Discounted private health insuranceGenerous leave and family care benefits, such as; additional 5 days of paid Carer's Leave per year, paid Parental Leave, 3 days of paid leave between Christmas and New YearRelocation assistance may be consideredFriendly and inclusive workplace culture which embraces the diversity of its peopleHere's some information about us… We are a not-for-profit organisation funded by the Australian Government to connect care and keep Tasmanians well and out of hospital.
