It is clear that this role will continue to evolve over the course of the next few years as will further career opportunities. Along with managing a broad client base of predominantly SMEs, you will be required to review your team's work ensuring that they produce a quality product that meets the high level of quality expected.Once established in the role/firm it is envisaged that you will be required to assist the Partners by alleviating them of an array of tasks that will then allow them to "drive" more business development, networking and strategic initiatives. This of course falls into the Advisory category where you will regularly be challenged to "think outside of the square" when it comes to innovative solutions and approaches.Due to the size of the firm, it is imperative that you are comfortable in a "client facing" role. You will be working with established clients who are looking for a "true" business partner.It should be remembered that even though this role is the senior appointment with the office, you will be required to remain "hands on" at times. This simply allows you to keep your skills up to date.
