What we are looking for:
As the Technology Operations Manager, you'll provide management of capital works projects and operational day-to-day running of SCADA and electrical engineering support for water and sewerage infrastructure. You'll also have a people-focused leadership style to effectively support your team as they look to you for guidance, flexibility, and collaboration, and to build and foster relationships across departments.
What your day will look like:
Continual improvement of strategy, governance and performance of electrical engineering and operational technology services Manage electrical engineering support for capital delivery projects from scoping electrical/control system works, developing technical specifications, through to defect management and handover. Develop asset maintenance and replacements programs Establish systems, develop KPI's and develop reporting mechanisms for ongoing monitoring of system performance and reliability. Prepare annual operating budgets for the operational technology function. Continually assess potential risks, opportunities and contemporary best practice and provide expert guidance on required action. What you'll need for success:
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics engineering, or information, telecommunications, and electronics engineering Previous experience in the scoping, specification, and design of electrical systems in industrial applications. Detailed knowledge of maintaining and troubleshooting control systems, operational technology, and communication networks (including SCADA). Demonstrated skills in continual improvement of governance systems and strategies to manage electrical engineering design, project delivery and the maintenance, operation and support of control systems and operational technology. Demonstrated capabilities in developing engaged, high performing teams focused on customer service excellence. Demonstrated skills in managing a business function including human and financial resources. Licences:
RPEQ - or the ability to obtain. Current Class C Driver's Licence What's nice to have:
