The role The Manager Operations leads and manages Council's Waste, Works and Climate Change teams through:
Managing the effective and efficient delivery of waste management strategies, services and infrastructureEnsuring efficient and effective planning, delivery, contract and project management of Council's capital works and maintenance programs that are within the Operations teamManaging sustainability matters with a focus on climate change adaption and mitigation across Council and the wider communityDeveloping and managing the waste, works, and climate change team budgetDeveloping and maintaining the trust and confidence of staff, Councillors, the Mount Alexander Shire community and our partnersInterpreting and managing legislation and regulation requirementsAs a member of the leadership team, you will work closely with other senior staff to create and maintain a culture that supports high levels of staff engagement and performance.
