About the Role As the Manager, Media, you will work closely with the Deputy Director to lead Swinburne's proactive and responsive media relations, enhancing and safeguarding our reputation as one of Australia's top universities.
This strategic role is essential for effectively communicating Swinburne's research, academic achievements and organizational milestones through earned media.
In this position, you will collaborate with various departments across the University, fostering strong professional relationships with internal stakeholders, media organisations and journalists to meet our communications goals.
About You To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities: Demonstrated excellence in developing and executing creative, results-driven communications strategies that support organizational goals and objectives.
Demonstrated excellence in managing the production and distribution of innovative, engaging and purposeful content across external, internal and social audiences.
A good track record and experience supporting and developing a team through change.
Experience in the operational requirements for a content and communications team including budget, quality and systems management.
Experience working effectively with stakeholders on the development and execution of strategic communications.
